About

Maybe you are about to become my imaginary friend? Maybe we will imagine together how we will make the world more magical? More enchanting? More of a song of joy? I know, I know – you have to work in the morning (or you are avoiding work)Β and this blather about imaginary friends and magic and such tells you nothing…

The prosaic hum of everyday life can be satisfying enough, though the swelling chords of joy are what really keep us going, I suspect. So me, and my imaginary friend want to sing the trills and ornamentations of the score, maybe even to venture out on a limb and to say “might it be played and sung this way?Or this way? Or that way?” In the plainest of wordings, how might politics look if imagination was applied? How would cities look if their core function was to celebrate community? Could the world of business ‘delight’ customers with genuine attention? (I believe Seth Godin popularized that delight idea. In any event, he has influenced me.) Of course, I do not know the answers to these questions, and this is simply a snip of what comes to mind in terms of content… I do hope there will be no small talk here. I can converse and debate and argue and rage with my imaginary friend, but no chit chat, no time-filling, soul wasting blather. Smilies are good πŸ™‚

  1. “…but no chit chat, no time-filling, soul wasting blather.” – Ooh, now there’s a girl takes after my own heart. Nicely crafted.
    Glad to be connected!

    • I wish I could say it was crafted, but thank you Bela! Yes, I am glad we are connected. Perhaps the thrill will wear off, but I so am enjoying my imaginary friends πŸ™‚

      • Well, it won’t be long before those imaginary friends metamorphose into real ones – with regards to your writing, at least! I am sharing your blog on FB with my network there. And don’t sell yourself short on the ‘crafting.’ πŸ˜‰

Sometimes feels like that,…imaginary….but I like to think of those I connect with as I did years ago. We called them pen pals. Never met a one but it was nice to know them in some small way. Nice to come across your site.
